2016 Ralph Fowler Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc the white grape of Bordeaux is thought to have derived its name from the French words “wild and white” and is the native grape of the South west France. The varieties popularity has spread around the world and it has proven to be particularly suited to cool maritime climates such as Mount Benson.
The wine style is light, fresh and crisp.
A delicate perfume of lychee, gooseberry and citrus blossom lead to an elegant dry palate that is both flavoursome, light and lingering.
Our 2016 Ralph Fowler Sauvignon Blanc highlights the unique minerally or flinty acidity of the variety and its limey flavours.
A refreshing drink chilled. It is the ideal accompaniment to a crisp salad or shellfish dish.
